The SIX validator node is like the backbone of the SIX Protocol‘s blockchain infrastructure. It’s very important because the SIX Protocol covers many different services. Validator nodes are responsible for making sure that transactions are valid, voting on important decisions, and keeping accurate records to ensure the security of the SIX Protocol.

 

Launch of Individual Node Program 

 

On March 10, 2023, SIX Network is launching the SIX Individual Node Program, which allows individuals to earn rewards by running a validator node on SIX Protocol. However, this round will only be open to 100 spots.


To become a SIX Individual Node, participants need to stake an initial deposit of 20,000 SIX tokens and participate by simply following the instructions on this blog. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our support team by opening a support ticket on Discord.

How to Participate in the Individual Node Program

 

Before you can participate in SIX Protocol’s Individual Node Program and start earning rewards, you need to do a couple of things to prepare. 


First, you’ll need to bridge 20,000 SIX tokens from other chains (BNB, Stellar, Klatn)  to SIX Protocol Chain by following the instructions Here or watching the video guidelines on How to Bridge Here. Once you’ve done that, you can follow these easy steps to become a node:

Step 1: Navigate to the SIX Protocol website

 Go to the SIX Protocol website and click on “BECOME A NODE” at the top right corner of the page, then click “PURCHASE NOW” button.

Add SIX Protocol to KEPLR

Step 2: Connect your Keplr wallet

Connect your Keplr wallet to the SIX Protocol website by clicking “START YOUR KEPLR” then clicking “Approve” and allowing the connection.

Become a Node - Purchase Now

Step 3: Purchase an Individual Node

Purchase an Individual Node by clicking “PURCHASE NOW” in the Individual Node section.

Input your SIX Name Service and Node Quantity

Step 4: Input your SIX Name Service and Node Quantity

Choose your SIX Name Service to identify your ownership (6-25 characters). You can either pick your name or have the system generate one for you. Then, type how many nodes you want to purchase.

Step 5: Recheck Details

Double-check your order details, including your node quantity and SIX balance.

Place order - SIX Individual Node

Step 6: Place your Order and Approve your Transaction

Place your order by clicking “PLACE ORDER” and confirm the transaction by clicking “Approve” in your Keplr wallet.

Step 7: View your Node

Once your purchase is successful, you can view your node staked by clicking on “GO TO YOUR NODE”.

Step 8: Manage your Node

After clicking “GO TO MY NODE”, you can see the details for your node. And, you can manage it by clicking on “STAKE”, “UNSTAKE” and “CLAIM REWARDS”.

If you’ve already left this page and want to go back to the “MANAGE MY NODE” page, you can visit the SIX Protocol website. From there, navigate to the “BECOME A NODE” page, and then find the “Individual Node” section. Once you’re there, simply click on the “MANAGE MY NODE” button to access the page you’re looking for.

That’s it! By following these simple steps, you’ll be contributing and earning rewards through the Individual Node Program.

We would like to announce that SIX Bridge will be an updated bridge feature to the SIX Protocol chain and Individual Node Staking will be available for you to join very soon. Today we would like to tell you the upcoming schedule of the updates and what to prepare.

 

SIX Bridge Major Update to SIX Protocol Chain

There are 2 major updates coming to the SIX Bridge. On March 1, the SIX Bridge will be upgraded and the bridge feature to the SIX Protocol chain will be available. With this upgrade, you will be able to use the bridge feature to bridge your SIX Token to the SIX Protocol to prepare for joining the Individual Node program. 

 

In order to complete the upgrade, there will be maintenance occurring from 12 PM to 3 PM (GMT+7) on March 1. During that period, the bridge will be temporarily unavailable until the major upgrade is completed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

 

We suggest you prepare for the upcoming Individual Node program by preparing to bridge your 20,000 SIX Tokens to the SIX Protocol chain when the upgraded bridge is launched. We will provide you with detailed instructions on how to do this soon.

To become a SIX Network individual node, investors must stake an initial deposit of 20,000 SIX tokens for each individual node. Individual node staking is a unique and rewarding approach to staking that offers significant benefits for investors looking to support the growth and development of the SIX ecosystem.

SIX Network will launch the Individual Node Program on March 10, which will enable users to become a part of SIX Protocol’’s infrastructure and earn rewards. If you are interested in joining this program, you should prepare to bridge your 20,000 SIX tokens to the SIX Protocol chain when the upgraded bridge is launched. Hello, everyone at SIX Network. 2022 is a productive year, with the release of NFT Gen 2 and partnerships with Validator Node, as well as the variety of use cases using NFT Gen 2. Looking ahead to 2023, we have exciting plans to develop projects with real-life utility, including a BUIDLER Garage and partner hub which will support both creators and businesses.

 

​​We have recently updated the “Six Roadmap Journey Update” page on our website to provide an overview of the progress made by the SIX Network. Our aim is to make this page a journey that everyone can follow along with us, so we encourage everyone to take a look at the updates made.

SIX Roadmap Overview

 

In 2023, SIX Network will work on creating more products and focus on its use cases. Our goal is to be a one-stop solution for businesses and communities. Last year, we launched “SIX Protocol” which is an infrastructure blockchain and we have partnered with business node validators to ensure that SIX Protocol is secure.

 

Next, we developed the Dynamic Data Layer technology on the SIX Protocol chain and launched the “NFT Gen 2”  which is a major highlight for SIX Network in the year 2022.

 

NFT Gen 2 is the on-chain solution of SIX Protocol, developed by SIX Network. The purpose of creating NFT Gen 2 is to enhance the utility of the NFT and make businesses able to implement NFT for real-world business activities. It is a new NFT Technology that links to metadata on the SIX Protocol chain without interfering with metadata on other blockchains. So, It can be used with any existing NFT.

 

NFT Gen 2 expands the capabilities of NFTs and allows for a variety of use cases such as transformable NFTs, NFT loyalty point programs, NFT ticketing, etc, depending on the business needs.

 

The main focus in 2023 is business use cases. So, We’re planning to launch new products to improve business applications, such as BUIDLER Garage, Partner Hub, SIX Vault, and SIX.Zone and NFT Staking. So, Let’s get an example overview of  these products.

 

For example, if companies want to use NFT Gen 2, they can create their own NFT collections at the “NFT BUIDLER garage“. Then, SIX Network also provides a “Partner Hub”, where we combine  NFT collections from all partners and provide NFT for users with more options. So, we can say that BUIDLER garage is where NFTs are created, then put their collection to the Partner Hub, where users can browse and purchase NFTs.

 

Then, We also have “SIX Vault”, a digital wallet for cryptocurrencies and NFTs. Users can send, receive and redeem NFTs from the Partner Hub and can access NFT Staking features through integration with Definix.

 

Lastly, “SIX.Zone”, a powerful marketing tool that aims to connect the Web 2.0 and 3.0 worlds. The platform provides tools and features that make it easy for businesses to run marketing campaigns across social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Discord, etc. With SIX.Zone, businesses can use many features to reach their target audience, engage with potential customers, and drive conversions. 1.NFT BUIDLER Garage is a tool that provides essential features and services for businesses and creators to create their NFT collections with marketing campaigns using Gen 2. BUIDLER Garage is built on top of the SIX Protocol infrastructure and is connected to SNS, the decentralized naming system for the SIX Protocol blockchain. With BUIDLER Garage, businesses and creators can create marketing campaigns that allow them to take full advantage of the possibilities of NFTs such as NFT ticketing, NFT loyalty programs, NFT discount programs etc and promote their digital assets to a wider audience.

2.Partner Hub is a platform designed to help businesses and creators list and market their NFT collections on the SIX Protocol blockchain.
